My name is Ivan. I am professional Ukrainian software engineer living and working in Budapest, Hungary. I studied in my home city in Sumy State University where I got my bachelor's degree in Informatics. Since then I've been freelancing on upwork.com, working at different companies in Budapest and participating in some programming events, e.g. BudapestJS. My main specialization is FrontEnd developmend, because that's what my biggest passion in programming is. However I am also doing backend and configure some infrastructures.

I also have a good experience with other technologies like React, Nest.js, Gatsby, SQL (mostly Postgres), Jest, Docker and other (because there is always something new every day).

I can build plan and build web apps from 0 as well, while choosing the whole stack as well. Sometimes I like to just solve my own problems with programming, usually automating something in games for which I once just wrote a clicker script (that figured what text was there based on same color pixel count and it was pretty precise for the use case), the other time I wrote a Chrome browser extension to capture responses in a browser game and calculating a useful information out of it, which saves time.

I don't like to rework things many times, so I prefer doing quality work right away, taking care of edge cases and engineering the best possible solution, that's my main priority when coding besides getting it to work. I value honesty and perfectionism. I like to help others solve their problems and learn.

In my free time I like playing video games, coding, taking photos (check my Instagram) and most of all traveling and exploring.
