Even though I am in a leadership position, I am an engineer at heart who enjoys solving both technical non-technical problems. I am a true believer of servant leadership and work hard to create an atmosphere where engineers can strive and prosper. I pay close attention to and rely on the engineers on the team as they often have insightful suggestions about improving the product and processes. I also act as the cheerleader of the team as engineers - in quality assurance in particular - have the tendency to assume the worst. Building a trusting relationship with the team is critical to my success. Open, honest, regular communication is my way of making this happen. I help out where I can even if the task at hand is not in my You job description. I enjoy getting things done, greasing the wheels of the organization if and when needed. My career so far has allowed me to work in different roles (test, development, management) of the identity and access management world. I am passionate about creating a positive customer experience and in the quality assurance role, I believe that user-focused testing is the best way to achieve this goal.
