Ben Sooter is the Knoxville Lab Manager for the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI). Based in Knoxville, TN his focus is managing the testing of a host of cross cutting technologies. These technologies include everything from Smart Grid technologies, to Energy Efficiency, Critical Power Systems, Power Protection Systems, Electric Vehicles, Data Center Technologies, Lighting, and Power Quality. He also maintains a focus on managing the safety and integrity of a large power lab that employees over 80 engineers and project managers.
