Asim Jalis has worked as a Senior Technical Instructor at Galvanize, Cloudera, and independently for over 4 years, focusing on Big Data, Hadoop, Spark, Java, Scala and AWS.

Before this he worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Salesforce, Symantec, Microsoft, Hewlett-Packard, and other companies for over 12 years.

Asim has an MS in Computer Science from the University of Virginia, an MBA in Business from the University of Washington, and an MA in Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
