I like to wear many hats. At work I:

• Lead development of Single Sign On
• Manage the intern program - help get them acclimated, matched with a mentor of a similar skillset to what they need, and check in regularly
• Help manage junior developers - answering questions, checking up with them, monitoring ticket queues, making sure they all do their time entry
• Lead development/architecture of Confluence Documentation (e.g. organization pattern, page templates)
• Lead development on a client-facing data importer in which clients upload data in excel documents that my code parses, maps to business objects, cleans up their data, and puts it into the system (or gives them human-readable errors)
• Fix security issues in the code base, IIS, and AWS
• Manage integrations with Slack (webhooks mostly); created hundreds of custom emojis that have built/tie-in with company culture
• Lead pipeline creation on Jenkins
• Manage office/developer hardware, build new developer machines, and setup conference room hardware + online calendar integration with mounted tablets
• Setup the office VPN
• Troubleshoot networking issues
• Help with hiring, and setup systems in google docs for organizing interview results so that we can later scrape that for data

In my spare time I:

• Teach a high school intro computer science class taught in Python
• Am developing a mod of a Valve game, written in LUA & JavaScript
• Building out a custom home automation skill for the Echo (Alexa) that sends commands to my media server (plans to integrate with Philips Hue, Sonos, and Emby)
