I am a graduate of Computer Engineering and Cognitive Science at the University of Waterloo. I now work as Engineering Lead at Tilt.

I enjoy programming in Python, C, and JavaScript. These days I'm mostly focused on Node.js. I enjoy studying distributed systems and event-driven asynchronous environments. I've recently conquered my fear of writing SQL.

I suppose I aspire to be "full stack" in the sense that I love learning about all the parts the make a computer function---from the digital logic of the CPU, to cache snooping, to OS design, to HTTP specifications, to user interface libraries.
