Currently working at FanDuel as a Senior Software Engineer which usually involves lots of Java programming but for the last six months I've been writing exclusively in NodeJS and loving it! Still involves the rare bit of Python, Java and Puppet!

When I'm not working I occasionally like to try and learn a new language ( currently Kotlin ) or framework or start a new open source project and never quite finish it... :( However, when all of that fails its onto video games! Big favourite - Witcher 3!

I'm also interested in getting more into the functional space, we got to do Haskell at university ( but it seemed like lots of Black magic back then ) and with that in mind I've looking at Scala!
