I am changing the world using code. Software is a powerful tool that can be used to transform the world, converting old physical practices into efficient digital processes. At some point in my studies in Electronics Engineering at UTA, I discovered that writing code is what I enjoy the most, most likely during a microcontroller course. When I started my professional life I was offered the opportunity to do that as an iOS Developer, however that meant that I had to work in something different from my degree preparation. It was challenging at the beginning but completely worth it. I had to cover plenty of gaps in my software knowledge to become a better developer. That is why I coursed a Master in Applied Computer Science at VUB. My specialization track is Smart Cities that nicely integrated software and electronics skills, ranging from Sensor Networks to Data Processing using Machine Learning and Distributed Computing. Currently, I work as a Mobile Developer at Todo 1 Services Inc, completely convinced that there are plenty of opportunities to improve Mobile Banking providing a seamless migration from physical to digital banking processes.
