I am a Ph.D. student studying statistical machine learning (specifically Reinforcement Learning and Representation Learning) at the University of Alberta. I was previously a software engineer at a large tech company in the US, primarily working full-stack with typescript.

My favorite language is typescript, and I do a large share of my research programming in it. Many of my collaborators use Python, R, and Matlab so I have become familiar with these languages out of necessity. I previously spent most of my time working in C++.
