Computer Engineering graduate at the University of Salamanca (USAL), currently studying a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence at the University of La Rioja (UNIR) which combines with his full-time job at BISITE Research Group in the fields of Data Science and Natural Language Processing, where NLP is his main expertise and research line. Throughout his stay at his current company he has published some papers related to his contributions to company projects along his research.

Some aspects to be pointed out are his proactivity, his constant willing to learn and to help/teach others and his contribution to open-source projects and solutions so to help the community out as far as he is able to. Also point out that Álvaro along with Enrique Hernández, Juan Julián Cea and Francisco Pintos founded a team/organization called Kafkoders so to share their progress and open source contributions, and to participate different hackathons.

Some recent achivements are his success on completing the Hacktoberfest 2019 challenge or being a Global Nominee of the NASA Space Apps Challenge 2019 Hackathon.
