Alexis Abril has been writing web applications professionally since 2003. With a start as a .NET developer, Alexis eventually moved into a Rails environment, however UI development has always been his focus. In that time span he has worked on a variety of projects including eCommerce, intranet, web service, console and mobile applications. He believes while a basis in full stack development is a great foundation for web application authors, specialization is the key to advancement in a respective profession.

Alexis has a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Dallas, is a current resident of the North Dallas area.
