I am a Ph.D. geography candidate in the Boston University Department of Earth and Environment.
My research focus is the use of remote sensing data to inform ecosystem models. In particular, I am interested in the application of Bayesian statistics to radiative transfer model inversion and multi-sensor fusion.
Most of my work is in R, supplemented with C (Rcpp) or Fortran when I need the performance. I also use Python as a hobby, and am interested in learning other languages, particularly insofar as they are good at computationally intensive tasks (e.g. Monte-Carlo methods) and/or working with big data.
