I support my family and lifestyle by contracting for several clients remotely in the "Engineer #1", "Principal Architect", and similar roles. However this is not where I see my future.

I have developed a Java-based enterprise software platform that eliminates application layers and makes development 100 times (yes, times, not percent) faster and better. Custom contracts will continue as long, as they have to - until I find a business-savvy cofounder to start churning out ERP-class systems for small businesses. That is my goal and niche - no one can touch with conventional technology, as those applications require years and tens of millions to develop.
