I did a code school at the Iron Yard (now closed) and work in a Django stack.

Formal studies of my past have included nuclear engineering, electric power systems, and Japanese language. My scientific interests have bounced around general relativity, climate science, and space exploration. Lately I have been eyeing certain select computer science academic topics, but I mostly remain in the realm of the practical.

Hobbyist interests have included various aspects of the marker movement, a la sensors, data, and the internet of things. I once thought I would found a startup to be the "Amazon of used things".
