About

Hi,

My name is Aitor Martín Gonzalez, born in Bilbao and living in Palencia, Spain. I'm a 27 years old programmer who has been passionately programming since I was 15, mostly in Python and C++ but also learning other languages such as Java and RUby.

I've tried university a couple of times, however when I wanted to attend college (2008) Spain didnt had any carreer specifically to learn and improve coding, all that was offered was Computer Engineering which has a part that is coding but it was very focused on hardware and the way computers work, a very interesting topic but I didnt enjoy it at all, so I decided to drop it and get a Professional Formation title instead, which had more coding and less hardware.

I started working when I was 21. My first jobs were freelancer works for Venture Choice, Servlets and other minor web development projects. Until then I was mostly focused on videogaming development but I really enjoyed web developing and I decided to focus on it more. Due to the great job I did with the freelancer works Pejman Makhfi hired me as full stack developer for Synrgix.com, website I built from scratch alone. The technology used for this project is Python-Flask and MySQL in the backend, and Twitter Bootstrap with jQuery in the front-end. I currently work mantaining and from time to time developing Synrgix while doing freelancer work for Credit Sesame, mantaining and developing their API and Alexa / Google Home APPs.

I enjoy a lot developing front and back-end enviroments. They are always fun and challenging and the experience I have on my back allows me to be constantly improve in every aspect and be able to do everything better which is refreshing and inspires me to improve even more.

I'm currently looking for a job that offers me an opportunity to grow as programmer and person. I would like to work in another country (English Speaker if possible but I'm willing to work anywhere) where I can gather more experiences, and I would also like to work on a team where I can collaborate and meet other developers like me.
