My programming career kinda started in 2001 when I learned the basics of programming in MatLab at my very first job.
After that I took one semester of computer science class, where I got to learn some Scheme and Java.
After that I learned PHP on my own, and was a hobby programmer of PHP based websites for a long time.
In 2009 I was lucky to get a position at my current company's marketing department, where my time is split between web development and things like writing copy and proofreading.
Fortunately, I've been doing less and less of the former, and by now, most days are spent doing what I love the most.
While I have so far been working almost exclusively with web based applications, I am learning some C# and Objective-C too.
