Why do google plus urls have plus.google.com/u/0
as base url even though all urls work fine without /u/0
at the end. Is there any special purpose behind such a design ?
Where do I find my personal url on Google+? Go to Google+, sign in, and click on the "Profile" button on the left column, which is by default below the "Home" button. The URL you've reached now is your Google+ Profile URL. The URL will be something like: https://plus.google.com/100696776502953781816/posts.
On your computer, go to google.com. Search for the page. At the top of your browser, click the address bar to select the entire URL.
It's used by a new feature Google introduced recently, Multiple Sign-in Account, the 0 means default account, 1 would be second account and so on.
Is not exclusive of Google+, you can see it in all the product
