Typing into Windows 10 Edge date input?

The default date picker used by Windows 10 Edge browser appears to only allow for scrolling through the M/D/Y parts. Does anyone know of a way to configure the HTML to allow for direct typing into the control?

Where is Edge autofill data stored?

Edge stores autofill information such as profiles, locations, card numbers in the Web Data database. Saved credentials are stored in the Login Data database. You can find URLs and associated login data in the logins table.
