Trouble installing pip3

Question

I am running ubuntu 15.10 and I have python 3 installed. But I don't have pip3 installed

I tried to install pip3 using:

sudo apt-get install python3-pip

But I get the following error:

Im a newbie to python and ubuntu. what am I doing wrong here? Also im not using a proxy server, im connected to the internet directly.

You will have to set your APT network mirrors to another one, as there are no wily packages on ci.archive.ubuntu.com, as you can see here: http://ci.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/

Just remove the ci. from all links to read archive.ubuntu.com, do a sudo apt-get update and you should be set.

As the current long-term support Ubuntu version is Ubuntu 16.04.3 LTS, you should also consider updating.
