I have uploaded the app.xaml
contents. I have not made any changes in it.
InitializeComponent() method in Visual Studio.NET C# or VB.NET is method that is automatically created and managed by Windows Forms designer and it defines everything you see on the form. Everything done on the form in VS.NET using designers generates code.
In a Xamarin. Forms application, XAML is mostly used to define the visual contents of a page and works together with a C# code-behind file. The code-behind file provides code support for the markup. Together, these two files contribute to a new class definition that includes child views and property initialization.
There are two potential causes of this.
The most common is the x:Class doesn't match up with the MainPage.xaml namespace. Make sure that x:Class in MainPage.xaml has the correct namespace.
The second most common cause of this problem is that the "Build Action" is not set to "Page" for MainPage.xaml!
