I am using android studio, currently version 2.2.3.
Is there an other or older version of the emulator accelerator (HAXM installer) that is compatible with windows 10 ?
Step 1: Go to your BIOS settings and check that INTERNET VIRTUAL TECHNOLOGY is Enabled or Disabled. And make sure HYPER V is disabled. To disable it : a)Go to Control Panel b)Click on Programs(Uninstall a Program) c)Then click on Turn Windows features on or off , then look for HYPER-V and untick it. And Restart.
Follow the below steps to solve Intel Haxm Is Required:In System Configuration you need to enable VIRTUALIZATION TECHNOLOGY. Once you have enabled the Virtualization Technology, you need to save the changes. Next, exit the BIOS. After that, boot your windows and launch Android studio.
Go to SDK Manager in Tools > Android > SDK Manager, go to launch Standalone SDK Manager, then check the Intel x86 Emulator Accelarator(HAXM Installer) Then downnload intel haxm from https://software.intel.com/en-us/android/articles/intel-hardware-accelerated-execution-manager , haxm-windows_v6_0_1.
Try the following
download HAXM from Intel https://software.intel.com/en-us/android/articles/intel-hardware-accelerated-execution-manager.
Unzip the file and Run intelhaxm-android.exe.
Run silent_install.bat.
In my computer Win10 x64 - VS2015 it worked
