I use Ctrl+Shift+T on chrome to reopen the last tabs I have closed by accident. Does the same type of thing exist in sublime or does it not cache that?
SublimeText already has the menu item File -> Open Recent -> Reopen Closed File. Also Sublime Text has the ability to save and restore all its open Windows when it is exited via File -> Exit.
Using Keyboard Shortcuts For Windows PC, hold Ctrl+Shift+T together to reopen a closed tab. If you need to recover previously opened tabs, keep tapping on the same key combinations (Ctrl+Shift+T). Your tabs will reopen one by one, following the order in which they were closed.
In the overwhelming majority of browsers today, Ctrl+Shift+T will open your most recent tab (or tabs), and Ctrl+H will open a window or menu to view your browsing history.
Use Cmd (Mac) or Alt (Windows) with the number keys 0–9 to switch between tabs in Sublime Text. For example hit Cmd–2 (Mac) or Alt–2 (Windows) to switch to the second tab. You can also use Ctrl–Tab (Mac and Windows) to cycle through your tabs.
I can find the shortcut to Windows (Ctrl + ⇧ + t) and Mac (⌘ + ⇧ + t).
I've just tested it on Windows and Mac and it works.
It only works for saved files.
