What is the problem below?

How can this be solved?
Right click on the SQL Server instance and select Properties. In the General tab and Network Configuration window, make sure TCP/IP and Named Pipes are enabled. Restart the SQL Server service if you need to make these changes. Note: Check the TCP/IP properties to verify which port SQL Server is running on.
User Action. Make sure that you have entered the correct server name on the client, and that you can resolve the name of the server from the client. To check TCP/IP name resolution, you can use the ping command in the Windows operating system.
All Programs >> Microsoft SQL Server 2008 >> Configuration Tools >> SQL Server Configuration Manager >> SQL Server Services, and check if SQL Server service status is “Running”.
