Spring : Exception starting filter springSecurityFilterChain

Question

I am trying to write an application using Spring 3.1.2-Release. App server is Tomcat 7. When I start the server I get this error :

SEVERE: Exception starting filter springSecurityFilterChain org.springframework.beans.factory.NoSuchBeanDefinitionException: No

You are missing security-config.xml entry in web.xml

You may need something like this:

<param-value>/WEB-INF/spring/security-config.xml</param-value>

after the line

<param-value>/WEB-INF/spring/root-context.xml</param-value>

in web.xml
