I'm using Slack reminders extensively. When reading a message I want to handle next week, I just use "Next Week" message reminder.
However, my work week starts on Sunday, where this message would pop up on Monday as the default week start day.
Is there a way to customise this?
Hover over a message. Click the three dots icon in the top-right corner of the message. Hover over Remind me about this. Choose a timeframe from the list, or select Custom to set your own.
The basics of /remindYou can set recurring reminders by including phrases like every day, every Monday, every weekday, or even every two weeks. Once a reminder is set, you'll get a Slackbot message saying so. And if you ever need to manage or check your reminders, simply type /remind list to see the full list.
Is there a way to set up a bi-weekly reminder for a channel? Yes! You can do so by typing: /remind #channel thing today at 13:45 and every other week.
In the message field, enter the details of your reminder following this format: /remind [@someone or #channel] [what] [when]. Send your message to schedule the reminder. Slackbot will send the person a DM with the reminder details, or post a message to the channel you specified.
According to slack support, there's currently no way to do it (hope it would be an option someday).
The current workaround is to use set the reminder manually, using /remind me to xxx on Sunday
