A friend of mine uses Coda, another Geany, which both have the ability to only show Tab and Space invisible characters and not end of line characters.
Can anyone enlighten me on a way to do this in Dreamweaver?

The Dreamweaver CS4 Web Design Software from Adobe is a powerful web development tool that allows you to work with HTML, XML, and CSS data in either a code-based or a powerful visual-based interface.
Each layout features toolbars, panels, and features in configurations that Dreamweaver has determined to be the most efficient and effective. If you want to change the layout, you can do so by going to Window in the menu bar, then selecting Workspace Layout.
Dreamweaver has an option to display hidden characters such as spaces and tabs: View -> Code View Options -> Hidden Characters, however that option also includes the end of line characters. So no, you cannot do what you are asking, you get both in Dreamweaver.
