There are basically five causes of blurry photos: camera movement, subject movement, missed focus, insufficient depth of field, and lens softness.
Close Focusing and Image Brightness The image brightness depends on the distance from the lens to the image, not on the focal length of the lens. Human eyes focus by changing the shape of the lens, to adjust its focal length.
Image brightness (or luminous brightness) is a measure of intensity after the image has been acquired with a digital camera or digitized by an analog-to-digital converter.
While brightness refers to the overall lightness or darkness of an image, contrast refers to the brightness difference between different objects or regions of the image.
I wonder if anyone can explain what is the relationship between brightness (or Intensity) and the blurriness of an image..
I want to filter rank the blurred images using intensity as a parameter.
