PostgreSQL failure in Spring Boot

Question

I have a new Spring Boot app that I'm trying to plug into my local PostgreSQL instance, but I'm having driver failures. I've got a basic driver class set up like so:

I decided to forego .yml configuration for the moment in favor of the default application.properties file, and used what little PSQL content for Spring Boot I could find to cobble this together:

And then added a dependency for a persistent PostgreSQL instance to the Initializr-constructed pom like so:

It's problem with you postgres driver. Try another one or check the local maven repo. Or you can use this one:
