Did anybody try to get play 2.0 on GAE? Play is now based on sbt, technically sbt-appengine-plugin should work. And if you have tried, what is your datastore setup?

Google App Engine primarily supports Go, PHP, Java, Python, Node. js, . NET, and Ruby applications, although it can also support other languages via "custom runtimes".
Custom Runtimes and Containers Haskell, Google App Engine provides support for Custom Runtimes in the GAE flexible environment.
The Python 3.10 runtime is capable of running any framework, library, or binary. Optimized to scale nearly instantaneously to handle huge traffic spikes.
I don't beleive it will work as, if I'm not mistaken, GAE requires a war file, which Play 2.0 can't generate.
That will not be possible until Play 2.1 (as per current plan)
