We are developing an app for a client who is currently in the process of creating their own Apple account.
The problem is they got started with the process late, and we need to submit the app ASAP for review.
Has anyone had any experience with changing the seller account after an app has been approved and is available in the App Store?
Thanks!
Step 1: Sign in to your Google Play Console. Step 2: Click Settings. Step 3: Next to Developer name, type the developer name you want to be displayed on Google Play Store. Step 4: Click Save.
To transfer an app, just go into your Developer Account and on the App Summary page, click on the Transfer App button. Only the team agent can initiate this process. The next screen will verify that you meet all the criteria for transfer.
You can continue to use the app, however you will not be able to update your app. If you remove the app from your device, you will not be able to redownload the app unless the developer is able to republish it to Google Play.
Your app version has been approved by Apple and is waiting on you to release it. Release the version to the store when you're ready. See Specifying When App Versions Are Released.
According to most reports, the only way to do this is to remove the app from the old account, and submit it under the new account as a new and different app. Ratings, reviews, saved settings/etc. and update-ability will not transfer, since they are tied to the app ID, and the app ID has to be a new and unique in the destination account.
