The height for one of my rows in excel maxes out at 409.5 and I need to increase the height. Where/how can I fix this.
Make sure the Home tab of the ribbon is displayed. Within the Cells group, click Format. Excel displays a drop-down menu of choices. Choose AutoFit Row Height from the menu.
Click the 'Home' tab. In the Number group, click on the dialog box launcher icon (the small tilted arrow icon at the bottom right of the group) In the Format cells dialog box that opens up, click on the 'Protection' tab. Uncheck the Locked option.
On the Home tab, in the Cells group, click Format > AutoFit Row Height: Tip. To auto fit all rows on the sheet, press Ctrl + A or click the Select All button, and then either double click the boundary between any two row headings or click Format > AutoFit Row Height on the ribbon.
Hi, I would like to ask a question on row width. 2. From Excel: Row height must be between 0 and 409.
1) Create a row below the row you want taller than 409.5
2) Select cell of top row, and cell of bottom row
3) Click arrow next to the Merge & Center button in the Alignment section of the Home tab on the ribbon
4) Click Merge Cells
You can repeat this process multiple times if two cells worth of height isn't enough.
