I don't know whether it's Android specific problem or eclipse related problem. My application works fine but after some time LogCat Displays Aborted LogCat-v Long
and after that doesn't display anything - for me logs are very important - any help ?

Solution 1: Restarting your Android StudioIn your IDE Go to File > Invalidate Caches and Restart > Invalidate and Restart. This Solution will clear all the caches of Android studio IDE and restart it automatically, By the method, there are 80% change that Logcat will start work as before.
Go to the File option > click on “INVALIDATE CACHES/RESTART” then a dialog box will pop up, Select the “INVALIDATE CACHES/RESTART” button. This will automatically restart and build the index of android studio.
Verbose: Show all log messages (the default). Debug: Show debug log messages that are useful during development only, as well as the message levels lower in this list. Info: Show expected log messages for regular usage, as well as the message levels lower in this list.
Logcat is a command-line tool that dumps a log of system messages, including stack traces when the device throws an error and messages that you have written from your app with the Log class. This page is about the command-line logcat tool, but you can also view log messages from the Logcat window in Android Studio.
If this is happening in Eclipse then you will need to close Eclipse and restart it: every so often the ADT in Eclipse loses the connection to the logcat process that it uses to display the logs.
If this is happening at the command line then you might have a driver issue: I'd suggest reinstalling the necessary drivers.
A lot of times, the device/emulator whose logs you want to see is not selected in DDMS. Just clicking on it loads the logs in LogCat. I used to get frustrated due to the same problem until I stumbled upon this.
