I gather the orientation approach changed in the recent version of iOS and I'm not using UIWebView...
Is there a way of locking an entire App to Portrait Mode or do I have to force each View Controller?
On the main screen of Rotation Manager, select an orientation by tapping on either the vertical or horizontal icons next to a specific app to lock it into either landscape or portrait mode. Highlighting both icons will allow that particular app to auto-rotate.
Access the Contol Center by swiping downward from the upper-right corner of the Home or Lock screen. For the iPhone with Touch ID, access the Control Center by touching the bottom of any screen then dragging upward. to lock or unlock screen portrait orientation.
Check Rotation Lock On an iPhone with a Home button, swipe up from the bottom of the screen to access it. On an iPhone without a Home button, swipe down from the top-right corner of the screen instead. Here, tap on the rotation lock icon (which looks like a lock with a circular arrow) to turn it on or off.
Swipe down from the top-right corner of your screen to open Control Center. Tap the Portrait Orientation Lock button to make sure that it's off. Turn your iPhone sideways.
Following is the way to lock the orientation of your app to portrait only.
