I have followed the steps on Individual column searching (text inputs) and Individual column searching (select inputs) to use multiple filters on jQuery DataTable and there are multiple filters on the footer. On the other hand, I want to move these filters to the header of the DataTable, but cannot align them horizontally as displayed on the image below. There are some examples as Custom filtering - range search, but they are not aligned as well. Is it possible to do this?

DataTables has the ability to apply searching to a specific column through the column().search() method (note that the name of the method is search not filter , since filter() is used to apply a filter to a result set).
Searching on individual columns can be performed using the columns().search() and column().search() methods. DataTables has a built in search algorithm referred to as "smart" searching and is designed to make searching the table data, easy to use for the end user.
Filtering DataTable varieties of ways include select(String) method, which selects the required row or column and then based on that applies the filter. Filtering can be done using Select, Where, AND, OR, NOT logical operator and on top of it applying the value also there.
fn. dataTable. ext.search . This is an array of functions (push your own onto it) which will will be run at table draw time to see if a particular row should be included or not. This example shows a search being performed on the age column in the data, based upon two inputs.
