Please tell me what kind of programs you use insted of JIRA/confluence. I don't like jira because the design is so Java style. For example I like the PivotalTracker for tracking fresh projects.
What do you suggest? THX!
Google Drive is much simpler than Confluence. Drive essentially reuses the structure of a traditional file storage system, but with more options for collaboration. Drive removes the need to email different versions of a file to a collaborator, and everything takes place within the interface.
BookStack If you are looking for a self-hosted free Confluence alternative, consider BookStack. What users say about BookStack: "The stock interface design has a modern feel and is simple for new users to use.
Microsoft Teams is first and foremost a business communication tool and is most commonly seen as an alternative to tools like Slack and Google Chat, rather than Confluence. However, the Teams app does include a wiki component which can serve as a decent substitute for Confluence for some teams.
Confluence helps teams manage long-form content, while Jira mostly deals with structured data. There is no objective "winner" between the two of them, but one of them may be a much better fit for your team than the other — or you may boost your productivity by integrating them and using them together.
Phabricator is a suite of web applications that help software companies communicate about software effectively. It was created at Facebook. Didn't try it yet, but looks like a good option.
