Is there any open source alternative to Google Docs? [closed]

I'm looking for an Open Source alternative to Google Docs. Reason I want it is because I want to host it on my computer. Google doesn't allow you to do that. Anyone know of any open source alternatives to Google Docs? I would be grateful if there were any.

Is Google Docs a closed or open source?

Just to be clear, however: open source is not the same as free. For instance, Google applications like Google Mail and Google Docs may be free to anyone with a Gmail address, but they do not expose their source code to the public for open source development.

Microsoft Office 365 With the launch of the cloud-based Microsoft Office 365 (which includes the online versions of all Microsoft apps, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), it firmly positioned itself as an enterprise-grade Google Docs competitor.

FengOffice has some overlap, though not as far as I can see, spreadsheets, and although they push their paid for product, are open source.
