How to do same in iOS 10 using UserNotifications and UserNotificationsUI framework? also i need to support for iOS 8 and iOS 9?
Go to Settings and tap Notifications. Select an app under Notification Style. Under Alerts, choose the alert style that you want. If you turn on Allow Notifications, choose when you want the notifications delivered — immediately or in the scheduled notification summary.
Apple has been supporting push notifications on OS X via the Apple Push Notification Service (APNS). Developers also use APNS to deliver a notification to iOS devices.
All push notifications requests for iOS devices go through Apple Push Notification service (APNs), Apple’s service which delivers them to the device. In order for Pusher to send them we need to generate APNs Key.
For iOS, the service manages your app credentials and the lifecycle of device tokens which are both required for every request to the Apple Push Notification service (APNs). You can subscribe your app user’s registered device to Interests, which act like persistent Pub/Sub topics, so that you can update many devices with the same request.
Once you have enabled Push through the settings on your iOS device, it is recommended that you close and then restart the Mail App, to ensure this setting is updated immediately. If the Mail App was not previously opened, then you can simply open the Mail App and the new schedule should take effect.
Push notifications are triggered by your servers to your Beams service. After a device using your iOS application subscribes to an interest on our service, your server can then send a push notification to that device by publishing to that interest. Let’s start by creating a file called publish-body.json with the request body for the publish:
