Is there a way to move/reposition a tab using the keyboard? I know I can switch tab using ALT + LEFT/RIGHT, and I would like to be able to move them maybe using ALT + SHIFT + LEFT/RIGHT.
Is this possible?
On Windows, use Ctrl-Tab to move to the next tab to the right and Ctrl-Shift-Tab to move to the next tab to the left.
move tab to left/up: Alt+Ctrl+Shift+Left. move tab to right/down: Alt+Ctrl+Shift+Right.
In IntelliJ IDEA, to convert existing tabs to spaces or vice versa, use File → Edit → Convert Indents → To Spaces (or To Tabs). The Reformat code shortcut Ctrl + Alt + L will also do this, while applying other changes.
To navigate backwards, press Ctrl+Alt+Left . To navigate forward, press Ctrl+Alt+Right . To navigate to the last edited location, press Ctrl+Shift+Backspace .
There is no built-in keyboard shortcut for this functionality as of the latest 2017 build.
