In Lync, is it possible to move cursor to a new line when writing message (like Skype's Alt+Enter)?
Shift+Enter is useful for when you want to create paragraphs or bulleted lists inside a chat message. It will bring the cursor to a new line, within the message, instead of sending it right away as would happen if you were to press only Enter.
Here's the fix when you want to add a new line to your message: Press the Shift and Enter keys at the same time and insert a line break will be inserted into your chat.
Please try to press the Shift+Enter key to create a new line.
However for workaround, we would like to suggest you to use Shift-Enter keys together. It helps to give you a new line without needing to change any settings.
Yes you can, try the Shift+Enter key combination.
