Identify spoken language in the audio files

I'm looking for an open source library to detect the language used in an audio file, such as a wav file. After some searches I found This http://sourceforge.net/projects/marf/files/Applications/%5Bg%5D%20LangIdentApp/ from MARF ( Modular Audio Recognition Framework).. Someone had already use it?

Can Google Translate identify spoken language?

By default, the Assistant automatically detects the language being spoken and translates it into your preferred language.

How is language automatically detected?

On the Review tab, in the Language group, click Language. Click Set Proofing Language. In the Language dialog box, select the Detect language automatically check box.
