Use the <code>--remove</code> flag. <code>sudo apt-add-repository --remove ppa:repo_name/subdirectory</code>

I need to remove add-apt-repository gnome3 on Ubuntu

Use the --remove flag.

sudo apt-add-repository --remove ppa:repo_name/subdirectory
