When I click a link to say http://www.google.com, facebook renders google in the frame. I don't want this. I want the link to take me to google and out of facebook.com.

You will no longer be able to create profile frames. Existing profile frames will be removed from the Frame Studio on March 21 so people cannot create a new profile picture with that frame. Until that date, you have the ability to go to the Frame Studio and download your frame.
When CNBC reached out to Facebook in May 2021, the company removed a number of these frames as they were violating Facebook's existing vaccine misinformation policies. However, other similar frames continued to proliferate across the social network.
Facebook no longer allows all users to create frames. They're limiting it to only certain partners.
Go to www.facebook.com/profilepicframes. Click your profile picture in the bottom left and select your Page. Search for a frame by entering the frame's name, the creator's name or related words. Choose the frame you want to use from the results.
