Our build script creates a HTML log with some embedded javascript. When I open that in Internet Explorer, I get the yellow warning bar that IE has blocked running "scripts or activex controls".
Since it is a local file, I cannot add it to trusted sites (IE expects a domain here).
I do not want to change security settings for the default zone.
Any idea how to permanently unblock it?
IE version is 7.0.5730.13 on XP Pro.
On the Tool menu, select Internet Options. Select the Security tab, and then select Custom level. In the Settings box, scroll down to the Miscellaneous section, and under Display mixed content choose from the following options: Disable, won't display non-secure items.
From Internet Explorer, select the Tools menu, then the Options... In the Internet Options dialog, select the Advanced tab... Scroll down until you see the Security options. Enable the checkbox "Allow active content to run in files on My Computer".
Users in Internet Explorer 11 and earlier may receive pop-up error message "This page is accessing information that is not under its control. This poses a security risk. Do you want to continue?" This error would be experienced every few seconds or minutes and may occur on Visualforce pages and apps.
