Copyright and trademark symbols can be added by using a keyboard shortcut. For example: To insert the copyright symbol, press Ctrl+Alt+C. To insert the trademark symbol, press Ctrl+Alt+T.
If you want the R in a circle, then again, you're going to press and hold the alt key and then you're going to type in 0174, and then again, you're going to let go of both these keys. And if you want the copyright symbol, you're going to press and hold alt, and then you're going to type 0169 and then let go.
You do not have to have registered a trademark to use it and many companies will opt to use the TM symbol for new goods or services in advance of and during the application process. The R symbol indicates that this word, phrase, or logo is a registered trademark for the product or service.
I have to show registered Ⓡ and trademark ™ symbol , in the message of an AlertDialog. I set a sting value with the registered and trademark symbol in res/string. But the symbol is shown as a question mark when the dialog opens. How can I correctly show the these symbols in the dialog. Thanks.
