run bundle install
task "bundle install" takes a lot of time... about 30-40 minutes.
How to remove it?
That way when you want to perform a full cleanup you can simply remove the gemset, which in turn removes all the gems installed in it. Your other option is to simply uninstall your unused gems and re-run your bundle install command.
Installation and usage To install a prerelease version (if one is available), run gem install bundler --pre . To uninstall Bundler, run gem uninstall bundler .
Bundler makes sure that Ruby applications always use the exact gems and versions that you need while keeping a consistent environment and gem dependencies satisfied. This is done by ensuring that the gems you need are present in the development, staging, and production stages.
In the invoked popup, start typing bundler, select bundle install and press Enter . Select Tools | Bundler | Install from the main menu. Open the Gemfile, place the caret at any highlighted gem missing in the project SDK and press Alt+Enter . Select Install missing gems using 'bundler' and press Enter .
You want the --skip-bundle
flag:
rails new ggg --database=mysql --skip-bundle
However, to run your new app, you will still need to do a bundle install
anyway, so you should determine why it's taking so long.
