In visual studio 2012, also should work with other versions:
Tools > Options > Environment > Keyboard
In the box "Show commands containing:", type "Edit.GoToDefinition", then in the box "Press shortcut keys" hit F12 and click assign.

Choose Tools | Options from the menu and then go to Environment | Keyboard page. Use the shortcut tables to find the alias of the command, to which you are going to assign a new shortcut. If some command does not have a default shortcut, you can find its alias under the title of the corresponding help page.
ReSharper provides two default keyboard shortcuts schemes. Visual Studio — This scheme aims to minimize conflicts with Visual Studio's own keyboard shortcuts. IntelliJ IDEA — This scheme shares the majority of shortcuts with those used in IntelliJ IDEA and its derivative web development IDEs.
In the Visual Studio menu, choose ReSharper | Options. In the Options dialog that appears, select a node in the left pane and configure settings in the right pane. Use the search box in the left top corner to find a specific preference.
Possible reason: Check if there is "ReSharper" tab in the "Tools | Options" dialog, and ReSharper is not suspended. If there's no such dialog or it shows an error, continue to the next Part II of this guide (below). If ReSharper is shown as 'Suspended' in this dialog, use the "Resume" button.
Enter Tools > Options > Environment > Keyboard and press the Reset button. Click OK to save changes.
Then enter in Resharper > Options > Environment > Keyboards & Menus. Select Visual Studio and then press Apply Scheme button. Click Save to save changes.

For Resharper 2019 / Visual Studio 2019 this can be changed via the resharper options, under Tools > External Sources. Resetting the keyboard scheme does nothing.
