I am running Turbo C on DOSBox in Ubuntu 12.04.
The problem is that two black stripes are coming on either of screen. I want to remove them.
My computer is a Dell Studio 15z with screen resolution 1366x768. I don't have a problem even if distortion occurs.
Relevant part of my dosbox.conf file:
[sdl] fullscreen=true fulldouble=false fullresolution=1366x768 windowresolution=1366x768 output=overlay autolock=true sensitivity=100 waitonerror=true priority=higher,normal mapperfile=mapper-0.74.map usescancodes=true
Use fullscreen=true for full screen. Use fullscreen=false for DOSBox in a window. Change fullresolution=original to fullresolution=desktop. When using a window, change windowresolution=original to windowresolution=1280x1024 (or use 1024x768 for a smaller window)
These settings can be changed by opening the DOSBox Options from the Start menu. Open the dosbox. conf file via the Start menu. First, I change the line that says fullresolution=original to fullresolution=1920x1080 , which is my monitor's native resolution.
Alt + enter works.
Alt + Enter is to switch from full screen to small.
go to dosbox installation directory (on my machine that is C:\Program Files (x86)\DOSBox-0.74 ) as you see the version number is part of the installation directory name.
run "DOSBox 0.74 Options.bat"
the script starts notepad with configuration file: here change
windowresolution=1600x800
output=ddraw
(the resolution can't be changed if output=surface - that's the default).
