How can somebody configure react-native run-ios to execute in iTerm instead of Terminal on OSX? By default, it opens a new Terminal window, but Terminal doesn't work as well with my window manager as iTerm does.

Find the file in your finder, right click on it, choose get info, then expand the Open With tab. There you should find a dropdown menu on what to open those kind of files with. The default is terminal, but choose iTerm2 and click on change all.

On Android, use the Expo Go app to scan the QR code from your terminal to open your project. On iOS, use the built-in QR code scanner of the default iOS Camera app.
Android Platform Next, we need Android Studio for SDK and build tools that support Android app development. We need to download the Android Studio setup file from the official site and run it. Then, we need to follow the installation wizard. Note that React Native requires the Android 10 (Q) SDK in particular.
Daniel's solution worked, but as soon as I reinstalled node_modules it stopped working.
To make the change persistent, right-click on launchPackager.command in node_modules/react-native/scripts/ and choose Get Info… Then change the "Open with:" section to iTerm, and click on Change All…
