Instagram has added an inapp browser that automatically is used when links are opened. My websites need to be opened in a normal browser such as Safari (for iPhone). I am trying to figure out how to force it to redirect to a proper browser. If this link is opened through Instagram browser, it will request to be opened in safari, And I am trying to do this: http://ogurl.co/BOJ
Every android app will have list of urls that it can open. So you have to go to that app settings and tell that it should open in browser for the urls and not in the app. To do that go to Settings -> Apps -> scroll down to the app that you don't want URLs to open in -> Tap on 'Open by Default' and select always Ask.
To answer your question, the in app browser for Instagram or any app is a design decision made by the producer of the application and cannot be changed by the user unless configuration is provided.
If Instagram provides a setting to open the links in a different browser, that would be the only way to make this happen.
