I did a Release to Production with a mobile game I developed. Everything was successful, I received a notification on google console that the last update was published. I waited a whole day and then I started sending the link to friends and family some got it installed but the others didn't have the option to install with a error saying "Removing your account from the beta test program. You may want to uninstall the beta test version and install the public version" keep in mind the people getting this message didn't even know of the development this was the first attempt to install
Traditionally "beta" has been used to designate software that isn't ready for prime time and may have bugs, yet millions of people use the four-year-old Gmail on a daily basis and, for most, Gmail is bug free.
1. Go to Google Search and Search for the beta version of the app you are looking for and click on the official website of the Google Play Store. For example, for WhatsApp, you can search for “Beta Version of WhatsApp Play Store.”
For Android, there are two ways to do this: Navigate to Settings > About Phone > Build number. If the build numbers start with TPB, you're running a beta version of Android 13. Restart your device.
Simply got to settings > manage apps >
tap on playstore > clear cache
. And then check your app on playstore again. It will be on public version.
